Dans un communiqué officiel publié ce lundi matin, la Fédération sénégalaise de football (FSF) a annoncé que le FC Metz a refusé de libérer Lamine Camara et Pape Amadou Diallo pour la Coupe du monde U20 à laquelle prendra part le Sénégal. Même situation pour Mamadou Lamine Camara avec Berkane.

La Fédération Sénégalaise de Football porte à la connaissance du public que le FC Metz a refusé fermement et définitivement de libérer les joueurs Lamine Camara et Papa Amadou Diallo pour leur participation à la prochaine Coupe du Monde des U20, malgré la demande insistante du Président de la FSF. Celle-ci en prend acte.
Pour Mamadou Lamine Camara de l’AS Berkane (Maroc), la même situation de refus prévaut même si des discussions sont en cours pour une libération pour compter du 15 mai 2023.
La FIFA n’oblige pas les clubs à libérer les joueurs au profit des sélections nationales jeunes lors des Coupes du Monde U20 et U17.
