Survenu sur la route latéritique entre les villages de Sikatroum et Thiariack, l'accident a fait 2 morts et près de 7 blessés.
Il s'agit d'un carambolage entre un particulier de type chevrolet et une voiture toyota.
Selon les témoins, les secours qui s'étaient déployés sur les lieux de l'accident ont eu du mal à sortir les victimes, car certaines d'entre elles étaient coincées à l'intérieur d'un des véhicules...
