Papa Ibrahim Thiam a été arrêté en Gambie pour le meurtre d’une coiffeuse du nom de Fatou Loum. Placé en garde à vue, il aurait avoué son crime.
D’après le site freedomnewspaper.com, repris par Voxpopuli, le mis en cause serait un ancien militaire sénégalais arrivé en Gambie en décembre 2017. Sa victime présumée a été retrouvée morte dans son salon de coiffure à Kololi. Elle aurait été violée et tuée. Elle avait les jambes et les mains attachées avec des vêtements.
Le crime aurait eu lieu le 24 janvier. Papa Ibrahim Thiam, 43 ans, se serait converti en tailleur dans un atelier à Serekunda. Il habite Jeswang, selon freedomnewspaper.com.
