La musique « Sénégalaise et Salsa » vient de perdre une de ses porte voix. Il s’agit de Rudy Gomis, lead vocal du groupe mythique d’Orchestra Baobab. En effet le chanteur a été rappelé à Dieu cette nuit du 26 au 27 avril 2022 à Ziguinchor a annoncé son ami Daniel Gomes Président de l’AMS et Administrateur de la Sodav. Créé dans les années 70, l’Orchestra Baobab a vu passer tous les grands musiciens et chanteurs du pays dont Rudy Gomis auteur de multiples tubes. Issu d'une famille mankagne comme le présentait « Music Africa » il a grandi avec toutes les langues et toutes les sonorités du Sud du Sénégal. Rudy Gomis chantait dans plusieurs langues et jouait à la perfection aux congas. Adieu l’artiste.
