Le litige juridique entre l’homme d’affaires Bocar Samba Dièye et Attijari (ex-CBAO) se prolonge. La deuxième chambre civile du tribunal de grande instance hors classe de Dakar a condamné la banque à verser 11 milliards de francs CFA à l’importateur de riz en réparation des dommages causés par la saisie de ses trois immeubles. Cependant, Attijari a contesté cette décision devant la Cour commune de justice et d’arbitrage (CCJA) à Abidjan, remettant en question l’expertise défavorable à la banque qui avait été présentée au dossier.
Notons que la CCJA avait été précédemment saisie en 2016 dans le cadre de cette affaire et avait ordonné des poursuites contre Bocar Samba Dièye. Malgré la confirmation de cette décision, Attijari remet en cause l’expertise mentionnée et a porté l’affaire devant la Cour d’appel de Dakar. Les avocats de Bocar Samba Dièye prévoient quant à eux de faire appel à la Cour de cassation dès la publication de l’arrêt.
