Deux malfaiteurs se faisaient passer pour des agents de la Sénélec, pour voler les compteurs Woyofal dans les maisons à Wakhinane-Nimzatt. Ils ont été pris en flagrant délit de vol. L’un a été interpellé alors que son compère a réussi à s’échapper. Les deux faux agents de la Sénélec se sont présentés dans un domicile le 25 octobre dernier. Ils ont démonté le compteur Woyofal avant de prendre le boîtier. Mais des riverains, qui ont suivi la scène, ont été soupçonneux. Ils sont alors venus s’enquérir de la situation. Voyant qu’ils étaient démasqués, l’électricien A. M. a pris la fuite en emportant le compteur Woyofal.
Son acolyte Y. C., lui, a été interpellé en possession du couvercle du compteur. Ce lycéen incriminé a été mis à la disposition des policiers du poste de Wakhinane-Nimzatt. Au terme de l’enquête diligentée par les hommes du lieutenant Cissé, l’élève en classe de première a été déféré vendredi dernier au Tribunal de Grande Instance de Pikine-Guediawaye, pour flagrant délit de vol commis en réunion. Le fugitif A. M. est actuellement recherché par la police de Wakhinane-Nimzatt.
