Kouthia a été purement et simplement relaxé par le tribunal correctionnel de Dakar, ce mercredi. Il était poursuivi pour diffamation et injures par Amina Poté. La plaignante lui reprochait de l’avoir traitée de lesbienne dans des audio qui ont circulé sur le Net.
Il s’agit d’une surprenante décision si l’on sait que l’avocat de Kouthia avait plaidé coupable et demandé juste que les faits reprochés à son client soient requalifiés en injures non publiques. En déclarant l’humoriste non coupable, le juge correctionnel va donc au-delà des espérances de la défense.
Mais Kouthia ne doit pas crier très tôt victoire. En effet, rapporte Les Échos, qui a relayé le verdict du tribunal, l’avocat de Amina Poté, Me Abdy Nar Ndiaye, compte faire appel. La robe noire considère, selon le journal qui l’a contacté, que la décision n’est pas fondée.
