Selon le quotidien Les Échos qui donne l'information, Cheikh Mbacké Gadiaga sera jugé, ce jeudi 15 avril 2021, pour comparution de la partie civile.
Il a été attrait à la barre pour avoir tenu des propos "calomnieux" à l'endroit d'une épouse du Khalife des Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké.
Libéré après trois mois de prison, l'homme d'affaires a été condamné dans une autre affaire pour "association de malfaiteurs, recel, escroquerie et diffamation".
